Kenya Wild Safaris – Booking & Reservations Terms and Conditions
1. Safari Payment Methods
All safari payments must be made directly to Kenya Wild Safaris’ official company account or through our secure online payment gateway. We do not accept cash or payments to personal accounts.

A 40% deposit is required at the time of booking to confirm your safari.

The remaining 60% balance must be paid at least 60 days before the start of your safari.

Full payment may be made upfront if preferred.
Accepted currencies: US Dollars (USD), Euros (EUR), British Pounds (GBP).
Payment options: Bank transfer, debit/credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express).
Note: Card payments attract up to 4% processing fees. Bank transfers are free, but all transfer charges must be covered by the client.
Payment Schedule:

| More than 120 days | 40% deposit |
| 120 to 90 days | 70% of invoice amount must be settled |
| Less than 60 days | 100% of the safari price due |
PLEASE NOTE:- WE DO NOT ACCEPT CASH, AND DON’T ACCEPT SENDING YOUR SAFARI PAYMENT TO A PERSONAL ACCOUNT OR AN INDIVIDUAL ACCOUNT.
Cancellation: Any monies paid will be refunded, less the cost of cancellation fees levied by hotels or food expenses and administrative costs, as described in our cancellation policy below.
2. Safari Cancellation & Refund Policy
If you need to cancel your safari, the following cancellation fees will apply:

| 60–120 days | Refund minus 30% administration & hotel cancellation fees |
| 30–60 days | 50% of safari price forfeited |
| 14–30 days | 80% of safari price forfeited |
| Less than 14 days or no show | No refund |
Important Notes:

Gorilla, chimpanzee, and golden monkey permits are 100% non-refundable.

Park entrance fees are also non-refundable.

Kenya Wild Safaris cannot issue refunds for activities missed or canceled by clients.

In the case of refunds, a USD 50 bank processing fee will be deducted.
3. Safari Pricing
Our safari costs include:

Transport by 4×4 Land Cruisers or safari vans

Park entry fees (where indicated)

Accommodation & meals as per your itinerary

Services of a professional safari guide
Exclusions: Visa fees, travel insurance, personal expenses, optional activities, and international flights.
Prices are subject to change based on park fees, government taxes, fuel costs, or currency fluctuations.
4. Safari Accommodations
We partner with trusted safari lodges, tented camps, and hotels. Accommodation is based on double/twin sharing. Single rooms may be available at an additional cost but cannot be guaranteed.
Kenya Wild Safaris reserves the right to substitute accommodations with properties of a similar or higher standard if the original choice is unavailable.
5. Alterations & Force Majeure
Kenya Wild Safaris reserves the right to:

Alter safari routes, accommodations, or itineraries due to unforeseen circumstances.

Cancel safaris in cases of war, terrorism, pandemics, civil unrest, extreme weather, or other force majeure events beyond our control.
In such cases, we will communicate alternatives and do our best to minimize client losses.
6. Transport & Safari Guides

Transport will be provided in 4×4 Land Cruisers or safari vans with pop-up roofs for game viewing.

Professional English-speaking driver-guides are included. Other language guides (French, German, Spanish, Italian) may be arranged on request and are subject to availability.

We may use subcontracted vehicles or charter flights when necessary.
7. Liability
Kenya Wild Safaris acts only as an agent for hotels, lodges, airlines, and transport companies. We are not responsible for:

Delays, injury, loss, or damage arising from the actions of third parties.

Loss of luggage, valuables, or personal items during safaris.
All claims are subject to the laws and courts of Kenya. We strongly recommend that clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering medical, cancellations, and lost baggage.
8. Marketing & Photography
By joining a safari with Kenya Wild Safaris, you agree that photographs or videos taken during your trip may be used for marketing purposes (website, social media, brochures). If you prefer not to appear in any media, kindly notify us in writing before your safari begins.
9. Data Protection & Privacy
When you contact us via email, WhatsApp, or website forms, you consent to receiving travel information, safari offers, and newsletters from Kenya Wild Safaris.
We respect your privacy – your information will never be sold to third parties, and you may unsubscribe at any time.
