Visionary, Explorer, Storyteller
Jane Mukami is the heart and soul of Kenya Wild Safaris. Born and raised in Kenya, Jane’s love for her country’s wildlife and landscapes runs deep. From a young age, she was captivated by the vast savannahs, the sound of elephants at dusk, and the sight of flamingos painting Rift Valley lakes pink. Her passion grew into a mission: to share Kenya’s magic with the world.
Armed with a background in business management and years of experience in tourism, Jane founded Kenya Wild Safaris to offer travelers more than a typical safari. Her vision was clear — to blend authentic African experiences with world-class service, while keeping both budget-friendly and luxury options accessible.
As a leader, Jane inspires her team with her energy, optimism, and deep knowledge of Kenya’s parks and culture. She believes safaris should not only showcase wildlife but also create opportunities for cultural exchange, conservation, and personal transformation.
When she isn’t guiding strategy or meeting clients, Jane enjoys photography, hiking, and exploring hidden gems across Africa. She’s also passionate about supporting community-based tourism projects that empower local people.

Strategist, Organizer, Problem-Solver
If Jane is the visionary, Joe is the engine that keeps everything running smoothly. As Head of Operations, Joseph ensures that every Kenya Wild Safaris journey is seamless from start to finish.
With over a decade of experience in logistics and safari operations, Joe knows Kenya’s parks like the back of his hand — from the winding tracks of the Masai Mara to the elephant corridors of Amboseli. His role involves coordinating guides, vehicles, lodges, and itineraries so that every traveler enjoys a flawless safari experience.
Joe is admired for his problem-solving skills and his ability to anticipate guests’ needs before they even ask. He believes that small details — a perfectly timed picnic stop, a surprise sundowner with Kilimanjaro in the background, or ensuring binoculars are available during a game drive — are what transform a safari into a lifelong memory.
When not managing operations, Joe is an avid birder and nature enthusiast. He loves spending weekends with his family and often volunteers in conservation projects supporting rhino and elephant protection.
